Objects In this exhibition are as actors engaged in devising a play with no definitive script beyond the general themes of convalescence, ambivalence and self re-invention. They are in the process of arranging themselves in various provisional tableaux, which hint at a series of ambiguous narratives. The show, curated by Natalia Zagorska-Thomas in a role of both a lowly help-meet and a master of ceremonies, brings together work of three artists in arrangements which disregard individual authorship or the concept of a finished art object, so that it may be difficult to tell where one work of art ends and another one begins.
This way of working, where the process of installing the exhibition is also the means of devising it, relies on creative instinct as much as on knowledge or experience and is inspired by the ethos of Tadeusz Kantor’s Teatr Cricot 2.
It is an experiment with no control group and unclear objectives, which has endless possible variations and is unlikely to lead to any definitive conclusions.

Due to Covid restrictions, attendance numbers are limited, and tickets are for 1hr slots. Please bring a face mask.
(Some masks will be provided at the venue if necessary.)
Surfaces will be cleaned/sanitised regularly and reasonable ventilation will be ensured.
Attendees may visit the gallery in couples, up to four people at a time.
